Sports Injury Treatment options:

  • Cortisone infiltration.

This is the old gold standard of injury treatment, as cortisone is a very strong anti-inflammatory, and reduces acute pain and swelling.

  • Bio-puncture.

A natural approach to acute and chronic inflammation, pain caused by muscle spasms and joint pain. Other inflammatory conditions like sinusitis, chronic headache and cystitis can also be treated with bio-puncture techniques.

  • Traumeel injection or infiltration.

A natural alternative to cortisone treatment.

  • PRP- platelet rich plasma.

Platelet rich plasma improves the body’s own healing properties by using the growth factors found in platelets to increase healing. Used IVI and at injury site.

  • Collagen infiltration and injection.

A new and less painful and costly alternative to PRP. Collagen injected at site of injury or pain improves recovery rate and pain.

  • Intra-articular Hyaluronic acid injection.

Chronic degeneration of joints causes significant disability and pain. Hyaluronic acid is scientifically proven to decrease pain, improve function and may delay joint replacement surgery.

  • Stem cell treatment– awaiting SAPHRA approval.
